My exams are still on, but I must tell everyone about the wonder that is Key to Success.
They're a series of guidebooks, on every pass subject Calcutta University has to offer.
Most students, study from a Key to Success for their pass exams, because we do not have the time to sit and do research for pass subjects, when we're already bogged down by honors papers.
So, sorry Calcutta University, oto porte parlam na.
Translation : So, sorry Calcutta University, I'm not studying that much.
Translations suck.
CU sucks too.
If you want us to finish our papers, try and set us a paper that makes sense.
It is next to impossible to write a decent paper in 4 hours, with the sort of questions you set.
And get people who can read English to read our answer scripts.
It would be much appreciated.
Anyway.
Back to the point.
I was studying for my political science exam, and the book gave me reasons to really enjoy (for want of a better term) the studying.
Why, you ask?
Because "Queen Victoria was like a brooding hen, protecting her chickens from the rest of the cruel farm."
Wait, there's more.
"Five Queens in the world will never die-- Four are the Queens of the cards, and the fifth is the Queen of England."
"Other imperialist countries wanted to take a bite out China's melon."
There were more, but I don't remember them.
:|
But there is one line from a history book that I can't not put up.
"Gandhi wore a loin cloth. Women followed him."
Eat your heart out, people.
:P
