Annoyed post because TRAI won't let me text.

"In its effort to stop the menace of unwanted communication, telecom regulator Trai on Sunday said that as of now, there is no plan to do away the restriction of 100 SMSes per SIM per day for all subscribers, except on special occasions like Diwali, Eid or other festivals.
"In order to curb the menace of pesky calls and messages, as of now, this (recommendation of limit of hundred SMS per day per SIM) will be applicable to all users. If in future some problem arises, we will see the things," a Trai sourcesaid."

Yes, I had writer's block. Or maybe I was just lazy. But TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India)'s ridiculously smart move to 'stop the menace of unwanted communication' has broken through my stupor and I just have to tell them how much I commend their move.

*pauses*
*has inner dialogue with self where calm me convinces not-so-calm to not hurl abuses at TRAI*

*%#@^*#$!
100 texts a day?
Are you serious?
For some of us college students who do not have money, o great idiots who work at TRAI, texting is the only way to communicate.
There is this wonderful little thing called DND, which prevents us from getting unwanted texts.
And also, a beautiful option called Delete.
Obviously, not something you great hardworking fools have ever heard of.
Or or or, I have an even better idea.
Stop telemarketers from sending us spam by limiting their sms limit.
But no, of course you must stop us texting.
Because you don't realise, telemarketers have brains. You stop them from sending more than 100 texts per sim, so they get more sim cards.
Clever, right?

And and and, I realise the pathetic plight of modern man, and him having to be alone in spite of people all around and all that jazz. But seriously. Come on.
Airtel users can only text Airtel users, and pay 10p for every text they send to some other service. And Vodafone can send 75 texts to Vodafone users, and only 25 to other service providers.
Are you trying to help man be more 'alone' and move that along? So people produce beautiful pieces of literature about how everyone left, because one couldn't text them?
That's not going to happen.
That drivel above is the only piece of literature you will produce, TRAI.

Just give me my texts back.
