So, this friend of mine started dating this guy a couple of days ago. A couple of them hooked up four months ago, and two months ago respectively. Another has had six boyfriends in the six months that I’ve known her. And this other girl…screw this.

What I mean is, quite a few of my friends have started dating.

What’s the one thing that is common to all of them..?

They’re all in love.

The mushy type, where they go all googly eyed, and start passing lame ass cheesy comments, then start turning up w/ hickeys after going missing for quite a certain period of time.

I mean, I get it. You’re 19, and you have needs.

Or possibly, enough sexual energy to power a small Midwestern town.

Get it out.

I also want to be in love.

The actual thing.

Say “I love You” and mean it.

Contrary to the beliefs of a couple of friends, I don’t need a fling. I can do w/out one.

This is why I shouldn’t read romance novels.

I like couples that leave everyone guessing.
